Luria FreemanLuria is a producer and correspondent contributing to NowThis original productions such as ‘I Have a Question’ and ‘Common Good.’ Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Luria is passionate about amplifying the voices of Black creatives who are making a way for themselves while also sharing the blueprint with those who come behind them. She has interviewed innovators across the entertainment industry including authors, actors, producers, and directors in the United States and abroad, engaging them in meaningful conversations that explore not only the history of the industry, but also their vision for its future. She has discussed perseverance with Taraji P. Henson, talked ‘Fast & Furious’ stunt work with Jason Statham, and pressed Jordan Peele about what makes a great horror film, among countless other experiences. Luria has also shared space with activists such as Cyntoia Brown-Long to break down how they believe American systems can be improved. Luria also hosted NowThis NEXT Presents YES WE DID! The Vital Voices of 2021, which aired on OWN and across NowThis platforms on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
