Join the ASME NEXT Book Club–now open to nonmembers! Hosted by ASME NEXT board members Alexis Jones, senior health editor at PopSugar, and Erica Sloan, associate lifestyle editor at Well+Good, the ASME NEXT Book Club votes on a book to read by a magazine writer and meets virtually to discuss it. 

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 27, from 7-8 pm ET/4-5 pm PT. The club will discuss "Fake Accounts," by Lauren Oyler.

ASME NEXT is the leading organization for early-career print and digital journalists. The ASME NEXT Book Club is a free benefit of ASME NEXT membership. It is $10 for nonmembers to attend.

Art of Editing: The Feature Story

Register now to attend ASME NEXT's March 16 virtual workshop for early-career editors. Working in small groups led by veteran editors, attendees learn how to turn unedited manuscripts into successful feature stories.
