Eric Sullivan, Senior Editor, Esquire

Eric Sullivan is a senior editor for Esquire, where he writes and edits features. Prior joining Hearst, he spent five years at GQ. He grew up in Upstate New York, went to Wesleyan University, and lives in Brooklyn. A story he edited about the crackdown on gay culture in Russia, "Behind the Iron Closet," by Jeff Sharlet, won the 2015 Ellie for Reporting; another, about the mistreatment of inmates with mental illness, “This Place Must Be Crazy,” by John J. Lennon, was a finalist for the 2019 Ellie for Feature Writing.
