Associate Editor, one5cAugust 10, 2023 one5c is a climate-action publication aimed at helping our audience identify specific ways they can combat the environmental crisis. We are a fully remote company (though we’re currently all based in New York) that currently gets its words out through newsletters and social media, but we’re aiming to expand. That’s where you come in. one5c is hiring an Associate Editor to help us save the world. Hero complexes welcome. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the Associate Editor will lend day-to-day editorial support to one5c across its channels. This includes editing our contributors, writing, and helping to manage the day-to-day goings-on of a growing digital media publication—be that fact-checking, light project management, or optimizing stories. That covers the near term, but one5c is an extremely small team that’s set to evolve quickly. Like everyone else on the team, our Associate Editor will need to be a fountain of ideas, dive headfirst into new platforms, and be comfortable learning and adapting along the way.
