ASME members choose the best covers, with the ASME Board of Directors choosing the Cover of the Year.
For the first time, ASME introduced the ASME Awards for Photography and Illustration, which honor visual excellence both in print and online. The new awards were presented in nine categories, with judges including leading editors, art directors and photo editors.
