Genevieve Smith is the executive editor of New York Magazine, where she has edited ASME and Polk award-winning features and special issues for thirteen years, including Revolt of the Delivery Workers, Torn Up and Apart, One Block in Brooklyn, The Stolen Kids of Sarah Lawrence, Tinder Hearted, and many, many others. She now oversees print and digital features across New York's brands. She's hosted a limited-run newsletter on the art of writing and written feature stories on topics as far ranging as Lego design and life coaching. She previously worked at Condé Nast Portfolio and Harper's Magazine.
