I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor in Journalism and an emphasis in magazine editing. I moved to New York City six months after college in hopes of getting a job in media. For the past 10 years, I've worked in both print and digital media as a writer, editor, and fact-checker, covering mostly entertainment before pivoting into shopping. My work has appeared in Newsweek, Interview, Paste, Electric Literature, Brooklyn Magazine, SheKnows, and StyleCaster. In my current role, I hope to help make online shopping easier, because it can be intimidating, and test products that solve our readers' problems. I would never recommend a product to a reader that I wouldn't recommend to a friend.
